Is Thrive a fit?

Gentle, but not fuzzy.

We'd rather be honest than be everything to everyone.

Take your time — this is a big decision.

Choosing how to educate your children is one of the most important, and most prayerful, decisions your family will make. It deserves real thought and honest questions — and zero pressure. We would never want you to rush it.

That's exactly why this page exists. Below we lay out plainly who Thrive is, and isn't, a fit for, and answer the questions families ask us most. If anything is still unclear, we are only a message away — and we would genuinely love to help, even if the honest answer is that Thrive isn't the right fit for your family this season.

A few things that put families at ease

  • We've grown to 450+ students almost entirely by word of mouth — families tell their friends.
  • Tours are warm and no-pressure; come feel the campus on a real class day.
  • You can start small — even a single class — and grow at your own pace.
  • You stay in the driver's seat of your child's education the entire way.
  • Many of the families who love Thrive most walked in unsure, too.
The honest answer

  • Want parent-led education with real support.
  • Want Jesus at the center of learning.
  • Value flexibility and excellence together.

Thrive isn't for families who…

  • Want a five-day, drop-off school model.
  • Want to outsource their primary role in their child's education.

Questions

Frequently asked.

What about socialization?

Students learn alongside friends and mentors on campus one to three days a week, with chapel, field trips, and community events on top of that. Most families tell us their kids build deeper friendships here than in a traditional five-day setting — without the social pressure of one.

Is Thrive academically rigorous?

Yes. Classes are taught by best-of-the-best vendors who are genuine experts in their fields, while parents stay in the driver's seat at home. Families consistently report strong academic outcomes — and kids who actually love learning.

Is Thrive compatible with charter schools?

Yes. Many Thrive families use charter funds for classes where applicable. Our a la carte, per-class model is built to work alongside charter and independent-study programs.

We travel often — can Thrive flex with us?

Absolutely. Because you choose one to three days a week and build your own a la carte schedule, Thrive fits high-mobility families, athletes, and anyone whose life doesn't fit a rigid five-day calendar.

How central is faith at Thrive?

Thrive is unapologetically Christ-centered — faith is woven through chapel, community, and the culture of campus. If you're looking for a faith-neutral environment, Thrive likely isn't the right fit, and that's okay.
